FAQ's

What types of benchtops are available?
There are many materials available to create benchtops. Choosing the right one for you will depend on your budget, your desired working surface, and how it suits the overall decor of your kitchen. Here are some examples:
  • Formica and laminates are an affordable option that come in a huge range of styles, colours and finishes.
  • Stainless steel is a hard-wearing, timeless and easy to clean working surface.
  • Granite is a premium surface, providing a natural look and a durable working surface.
  • Timber provides kitchens with a warm, natural and welcoming look.
  • Engineered stone gives all the beauty of natural stone with durability and stain resistance.
  • Acrylic benchtops are an affordable alternative to granite and are easy to clean.
  • Porcelain benchtops are popular as the thin material can be applied to other surfaces, such as cupboards, splashbacks and drawers, for a stronger overall aesthetic.
Why can’t you give me an indication of the cost?

We can’t price a kitchen without a consultation and measure. The cost changes significantly based on your choice of materials and what cabinetry you want in your kitchen. Every consultation and measure is free, and there is no obligation to proceed.

Why choose custom cabinetry?
Flat-pack kitchens are typically more affordable than custom cabinets, but not always. If you have a very tight budget, then they’re probably the better choice, especially if you install them yourself. Flat-pack kitchens typically come in a limited range of sizes and finishes, which means you will have to make compromises with your design and layout. Cheaper flat-pack cabinets are usually less durable and will age faster than custom cabinets.

Custom cabinets allow you to have the kitchen you want without compromise within the available space. You have complete freedom to choose whatever you want for materials, finishes and accessories. Custom cabinets are made to suit your space, so they will fit perfectly. We build them with quality craftsmanship, so you’re getting a high-quality product that will look good and last for many years.
